The Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls is hosting a free event entitled "Pep Rally for Christ" from now thru August 20th.  There will be speakers, music and food.  It begins on Tuesday, and Wednesday at 6:00pm.  For more information call 632-5792.

The Riverside Union Church Ladies Christian Fellowship will host their annual Pie and Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 21st at the church located 3.5 miles north of the Crow Wing/Morrison County line on county road 45.

A child car seat clinic will be held on Thursday, August 21st from 4:00-7:00pm at the Swanville Firehall.  Drive ups are welcome but appointments are preferred.  For information call Public Health at 632-6664. 

A wine tasting event will be held on August 21st at Linden Hills.

The Little Falls Knights of Columbus Council 1804 will have their annual "Chicken and Corn Feed" on Friday, August 22nd from 5:30-7:00pm at Lions Park across from St. Otto's in Little Falls.  Tickets are $6.50 for adults; $3 for children ages 5-12; and free for kids under 5.  The public is welcome to attend.

Linden Hill in Little Falls is hosting an Author Tea Retreat from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, August 23rd.  The author Ellen Baker who wrote "Keeping the House" will be there and tours of the Musser and Weyerhaeuser mansions along with the tea is available for $40.

The Pierz Oktoberfest Celebration will be August 23rd-24th.  Saturday, August 23rd there will be a dance and fireworks and the parade will start at 11:00am on Sunday.

All Royalton elementary school students and their families are invited to the annual Open House and Picnic on Wednesday, August 27th.  A free picnic wil be served from 5:30-6:30pm and the classrooms will be open for visitation with the teachers from 5:30-7:30pm.

The Motorcycle Rally Against Child Abuse will be held Saturday, September 6th.  Registration that morning at 11:00am with the ride beginning at 12:00pm from the Last Chance Saloon in Genola.  $20 fee per bike; $30 for double riders.  For more information call Stacie at (320) 360-5161.

The Little Falls Chamber Sporting Clays Shooting Event will be held September 16th at Rice Creek Hunting and Recreation.

The 2nd Annual Lakes Region Horsefest will be held September 20th and 21st at the Morrison County Fairgrounds.  The Exhibitor show hours are 10:00am-8:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am-6:00pm on Sunday.  Professional rodeos will be held at 2:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Morrison County Disabled American Veterans clothing collection program is open for the year.  Collection hours are from 9:00am-12:00pm every Friday throughout the summer until October 3rd.  The collection facility is located on 1st St NE in Little Falls.  For information call Stan at (320) 584-5682.

The Pine Grove Zoo in Little Falls will host their annual Zoo Boo from 4:00-8:00pm on October 25th.  The Spook-A-Rama will follow at the zoo from 8:00-10:00pm on October 25th.

The Vietnam Moving Wall will be coming to the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetary in Little Falls from October 23rd-27th.

The St. Francis Convent in Little Falls is hosting a Spaghetti Supper from 4:30-7:00pm on November 4th.
