Festive Beef Dip (Thanks Jan Roering)

Week of December 5th-9th 2016

  • 1 Large round loaf Rye or Marble Bread

  • 1 Small loaf Rye or Marble Bread

  • 1 ½ cup Kraft Mayo

  • 1 pint sour cream

  • 11 ounces cream cheese

  • 2 – 5-ounce packages chipped beef, diced

  • ¾ teaspoon garlic salt

  • 1 green onion, chopped fine

  • 1 Tablespoon pimento, diced

  • Garlic powder (to taste)

  • Dill weed (to taste)

Remove the top of the large loaf of bread and scoop out inside and cut small loaf into cubes. Cream together mayo, sour cream and cream cheese. Mix in chipped beef, garlic salt, green onion, pimento, garlic powder and dill weed. Pour mixture into hollowed out bread and wrap in foil. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Open foil and sprinkle with finely shredded Coby/Jack cheese, return to oven until melted. Remove from oven and foil, and serve on decorative platter surrounded with bread cubes. Enjoy!
