A 21-year-old from Alexandria was killed early Sunday on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis. Around 3:00am authorities stated that Jacob Kato was biking in the right traffic lane of the Interstate when he was struck by a car driven by a 25-year-old from Richfield. Kato died at the scene. Alcohol was named a factor in the crash.
