A four vehicle accident injured three people Friday west of Baxter. Around 3:15pm, 64-year-old Carl Christensen of Brainerd was making a left turn off Highway 210 when a smaller vehicle was unable to stop in time and collided with Christensen. This caused a chain reaction of another two vehicles striking each other. The first driver was not hurt. The 2nd driver, 43-year-old Nicole Johnson of Pillager sustained injuries and was taken to the Brainerd hospital. The third driver, 63-year-old John Schwatka and a passenger in the 4th vehicle 66-year-old Sandra Ingegritson of Andover were also injured and treated at an area hospital. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
