A 4-year-old girl was rescued from Whipple Beach in Baxter Saturday afternoon after she was found floating along the water by herself. Around 3:00pm it was reported by Baxter police a passerby noticed 4-year-old Darlyn Shabaiash in the water just off the shoreline of the beach and got her out of the water. CPR was initiated at the scene and revived the girl. She was taken to the Brainerd hospital and released on Monday. The incident remains under investigation but foul play is not suspected.
