Charcoal smoldering in a grill residents believed to be extinguished was likely the cause of a house fire in Sylvan Township Sunday night. The Pillager Fire Department was paged shortly before midnight Sunday to a residence on the 2600 block of Wilderness Drive Southwest. The fire was mainly contained to the attic and did not trip smoke detectors until the attic was engulfed. There were no injuries.
