The Miss Brainerd Lakes Scholarship Program announced the winners of the 2015 Miss Brainerd Lakes/Miss Central Lakes Pageant Monday. During the event Saturday, Danielle Hron was crowned Miss Brainerd Lakes 2015 and Abigale Bodene was crowned Miss Central Lakes 2015. Melissa Paakh was named first runner-up. Lauren Crabtree was crowned Miss Brainerd Lakes Outstanding Teen. Miss Brainerd Lakes/Miss Central Lakes is an official preliminary to the Miss Minnesota Scholarship Pageant and the Miss America Scholarship Pageant. The Miss Brainerd Lakes Scholarship Program is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation that awards thousands of dollars of scholarships each year to local participants.
