An attorney for a 63-year-old Brainerd man, who allegedly brandished a loaded shotgun with law enforcement, asked the court Tuesday to dismiss three of six felony charges. An attorney representing Larry Walter Prahm, submitted a court memorandum to in Crow Wing County District Court during a contested hearing asking the court to dismiss the charges of first-degree assault with use of a deadly weapon against a peace officer, second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle. The attorney argued “probable cause is lacking” with the three charges. The judge made no decision Tuesday on dismissing the charges and said he would take the matter under advisement.
