A boat burned on Gull Lake Saturday at a public landing. The Nisswa Fire Department was dispatched at 2:30pm to the fire at the boat landing on Hole-in-the-Day Bay. 10 firefighters responded to the fire, which was well underway upon arrival. There were no injuries from the fire. The boat was a total loss. The owners, a family visiting the lakes area, called in the fire, the cause of which is unknown. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters assisted the owners with returning the boat to the trailer. Crews were on the scene for an hour.
