A 63-year-old Brainerd man, who allegedly brandished a loaded shotgun with law enforcement, was escorted out of the courtroom Wednesday after swearing at the judge. Larry Walter Prahm made his first appearance before Judge David Eyck in Crow Wing County District Court. The judge set unconditional bond at $1 million for Prahm who is the defendant in a criminal case that began with a dog killing chickens and ended in a short stand-off between the suspect and authorities. Prahm faces eight charges highlighted by first and second degree assault with the use of a deadly weapon and terroristic threats. His next hearing is at 9:00am on September 23
