A 31-year-old Brainerd man was sentenced to 18-years in prison for his role in an aggravated robbery in Brainerd last year. Matthew Mason was found guilty in Crow Wing County last month and sentenced by a district court judge for aiding and abetting a robbery November 20th, 2014 in Brainerd. Mason had 12 prior felony convictions including theft and control substance crimes and was considered a career criminal by the judge which led to the stiffest of penalties for his recent crimes against him from last year.[/fusion_text][/fullwidth]
