Brainerd Police are joining with family and friends to invite the public to participate in a walk to raise awareness for missing person Marc Welzant. The group will gather at Kiwanis Park in Brainerd at 12:30pm this Sunday. People participating will be transported to the starting location. The two mile walk will retrace the route that is believed to be what Marc took the day he disappeared and will end at Kiwanis Park. Marc Welzant, a developmentally disabled adult, left his group home the afternoon of Sunday, October 26th 2014. He was last seen on video at the Holiday Gas Station on South 6th Street in Brainerd shortly before 3:00pm. Marc was 47 years old at the time of his disappearance. He has brown hair, brown eyes and about 5’2”. After nearly a year of searching for Marc Welzant he remains missing.
