Little Falls artist Charles Kapsner is ready to unveil his next portrait which will be the third of five 8-by-10-foot oil paintings to be permanently displayed in the Committal Hall at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. The latest painting, which honors the Coast Guard, will be revealed at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 6th at the cemetery north of Little Falls. The dedication is open to the public. Previous paintings were unveiled in 2011, honoring the U.S. Army, and in 2014, honoring the U.S. Navy. The fourth painting is to honor the U.S. Marine Corps, and the fifth will honor the U.S. Air Force.
