On Tuesday, many offered their opinions to the Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners if the county should remain in partnership with Morrison and Aitkin County in probation services. About 100 people in attendance showed support and anger throughout the discussion in reaction to public comments. The matter approved by the county board in April was to examine pros and cons of withdrawing from Central Minnesota Community Corrections which has been a joint partnership in place for 40 years. Around a dozen people spoke their concerns on the issue. The Commissioners stated they would take all under advisement before making a final ruling.
