A St. Cloud woman is facing charges after investigators concluded she was involved in helping hide two Lakeville teens. 51-year old Deirdre Elise Evavold is facing two charges of deprivation of custodial rights. According to a press release, Evavold was involved in helping hide Samantha and Gianna Rucki, who had been missing for more than two years. The release said it is believed that Evavold, along with the girl’s mother Sandra Grazzini-Rucki, dropped the two girls off at White Horse Ranch near Herman in western Minnesota. The girls left their Lakeville home in April 2013 during a divorce and custody dispute between their parents. Grazzini- Rucki was charged in October with deprivation of custodial rights. The two sisters were found at White Horse Ranch in November. The owners of White Horse Ranch, Gina and Doug Dahlen, were also charged with deprivation of custodial rights. Evavold’s home was searched in October. Police took computers, cellphones and electronic storage devices. According to a search warrant filed in Stearns County District Court, Evavold had been in contact with Grazzini-Rucki after the girls disappeared. Search warrants also showed that Evavold had sent emails to a lawyer who had been working with Grazzini-Rucki two days after the girls went missing. Grazzini-Rucki’s Facebook page also showed activity with the IP address tracking to Evavold’s home.
