A Little Falls man was injured when the vehicle he was driving turned in front of a semi Wednesday around 5:20pm north of Little Falls. 82-year old Emil Groth was in a pickup on the side of Ginger Road, north of 175th Street, when a semi driven by 66-year old Walton Kjeldergaard of Cushing, approached and moved to the left lane to avoid the truck. The pickup truck suddenly turned to cross the road and was hit by the semi. Groth was trapped inside his vehicle and needed to be extricated by firefighters. Groth was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of injuries.
