Rural communities are the backbone of America, and now through November 30, 2016, eligible farmers residing in eligible counties across the country will have the opportunity to win a $2,500 donation to direct to a local eligible nonprofit organization. As part of the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, farmers will direct more than $3 million dollars of financial support to eligible nonprofits across rural America in 2017. Since the program began in 2010, the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program has awarded more than $22 million in donations to a broad cross-section of organizations that reflect the makeup and character of rural America, including emergency response organizations, schools, youth agriculture programs and many others.
