Agriculture department heads from all 50 states will converge on Lincoln, Nebraska later this week for the 100th anniversary annual meeting of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA). As the current president of NASDA, Nebraska ag director Greg Ibach serves as host for the event. The agenda includes tours of farms and other agribusinesses in eastern Nebraska. On Friday, the group will travel to Omaha for a Global Leaders Forum on Agriculture and Trade featuring U.S. Secretary Agriculture Tom Vilsack and top ag officials from Argentina and New Zealand.
