A fire in a detached garage caused an estimated $12,000 in damage Monday night. The St. Cloud Fire Department responded to the fire at 14-20th Ave. S around 11:45pm. Occupants of a duplex on the property saw the fire and moved their cars from the front of the garage. There were no injuries and no damage to surrounding buildings. The official cause is under investigation.
