Fire Monday at Stewart’s Forest Products in Fort Ripley

Little Falls firefighters battled a fire Monday afternoon just after 3:30pm that destroyed a building at Stewart’s Forest Products in Fort Ripley. Black smoke was seen from the boiler building when firefighters arrived. The boiler building was destroyed but it was not attached to the main building of the facility and no other structures at the facility were impacted. Firefighters were on the scene for a few hours. There were no reports of any injuries from the fire.
