Foley fire department with the assistance of the Pierz Fire Department responded to a fire late Sunday night

The Foley fire department with the assistance of the Pierz Fire Department responded to a fire late Sunday night. In total 22 firefighters were called to the mobile home at 7341 345th Avenue two miles north of Ramey. The call came in at 11:47pm and firefighters were on the scene for approximately 2 ½ hours. No one was home when the fire started. The home owner came home to discover the unit on fire. The mobile home sustained severe damage and is likely totaled. No injuries. The official cause is under investigation.
