Investigators do not believe missing Laura Schwendemann left voluntarily

Investigators searching for 19-year-old Laura Schwendemann of Pope County stated Tuesday that it is believed she did not leave voluntarily in a vehicle at a gas station on October 14th. They are seeking information  still on her whereabouts and searching for a 1997 black Geo Prism with a loud exhaust seen at the gas station at the same time that Laura left the station. Investigators stated there is no threat to public safety. For the families well being they asked for someone who may have seen Schwendemann to call the Douglas or Pope County sheriff.
