The Little Falls Fire Department was called out 5:43am Tuesday to the Wade and Melissa Notsch residence at 16705 Highway 27 East Little Falls. A lightning strike outside affected the breaker panel inside the house. The fire inside was mainly contained to the breaker area but the home did sustain moderate damage. The wife and kids were home at the time of the incident but all escaped safely. 21-Little Falls firefighters were on the scene for approximately three hours. Tuesday’s storm was strong enough to knock down some trees but nothing like the storm earlier this month.
