Little Falls will host the 35th annual Statewide Historic Preservation Conference today and tomorrow. The event is open to the public and will be held at the St. Francis Retreat Center, with receptions at the Great River Arts Association and the Linden Hill Historical Event Center. This premier gathering of preservationists from across the state provides an opportunity for sharing, learning, networking and strengthening preservation efforts in Minnesota. Susan West Montgomery, vice president for Preservation Resources at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will provide the keynote talk on Grassroots Advocacy for Preservationists. Workshops and tours will highlight historic and archaeological sites in and around Little Falls. Registration at St. Francis today from 7:30-8:30am.
