The man accused of leading authorities on a chase and manhunt and then stabbing a police dog last week in Anoka County is now in custody. 26-year old L.C. Wesley Armstrong of Walker surrendered to authorities Sunday. Armstrong was in court last week on charges of attempt to intentionally cause the death of a public safety dog, possession of a firearm by an ineligible person, and fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.  His bail has been set at $500,000.
