A man who accidentally left a flash drive at St. Cloud Library that contained pornographic images and his resume pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of possessing child pornography. 41-year old Andy Brian Curtis is scheduled to be sentenced on the felony charge November 30th. A library supervisor found the images in November 2013 when she was cleaning information from the flash drive, which had been placed into the library’s lost and found bin. The supervisor called police, and further examination of the flash drive revealed more than 500 images and 35 videos that appeared to depict naked boys engaging in sexual activity. When interviewed by investigators, Curtis admitted that he had lost a flash drive with his resume on it. He said that he had been to the library but didn’t realize that he had left the flash drive there. He also admitted that the naked man in the photo on the flash drive was him and that he had downloaded child pornography from the Internet and put it onto a flash drive.
