Minnesotans can refer to a new publication from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) to learn more about the state’s vibrant agriculture industry. The magazine features stories on many aspects of Minnesota agriculture – from the growing craft beer industry and the use of cloud-based farm management tools to century farms and our rich history as a leader in biofuels development. Minnesota Made magazine is produced in both digital and print formats. The first issue has been distributed statewide to local libraries, city and county government offices, and farm organizations. Copies can be picked up at the two major agricultural events of the summer – at Farmfest, August 4-6 near Redwood Falls and at the Minnesota State Fair, August 27–September 7. Stop by the MDA’s exhibit at either location for a free copy.
