Missing autistic teenager from Waite Park located safe by police Tuesday night

A missing autistic teenager from Waite Park was located safe by police Tuesday night. 14-year old David Lee Treetop was last seen by family members around 1:00pm. He was reported missing to law enforcement around 6:30pm. A bloodhound tracked the 14-year-old boy’s scent to Rivers Edge Park but the scent was lost. Around 11:30pm Treetop was located by officers walking near 12th Ave and 1st Street North in Waite Park. He was unharmed and he was returned to his family. Waite Park Fire was helping to search the river bank as a precaution when the missing juvenile was located.
