A motorcyclist left a passenger on the side of the road after crashing in Benton County early Saturday morning. Two people were traveling south on U.S. Highway 10 on a motorcycle when the driver lost control of the bike and crashed. The driver then got back on the bike, leaving the passenger and headed north in the southbound lane. The driver was later stopped by the State Patrol in Royalton. The driver suffered from substantial injuries and did not mention the passenger when stopped by the State Patrol. The passenger of the bike was found 45 minutes after the crash occurred. The news release stated that the driver is currently under investigation for driving under the influence.
