A nativity scene in Wadena is sparking some controversy from a Wisconsin-based foundation who has asked the city of Wadena to not put up their nativity scene in BN Park because it is against policy advocating the separation of church and state. A letter last week to the Wadena City Attorney states if the display is put up a lawsuit will be filed against the city in the matter. The city will bring the matter up for discussion at their meeting today before making a final vote.
