The late-season system dumped over a foot of snow in many areas. Some areas saw 18 inches or more in northwestern Minnesota then a line from Fergus Falls to Bemidji had 11-15 inches. It was reported around 8 in Detroit Lakes, over 7 in Little Falls then in northeastern Minnesota reported nearly 2 feet of snow this week alone and more snow expected today into the weekend near Lake Superior.  A St. Cloud man was hurt when his vehicle left the road and struck some trees. Fifty-eight-year-old Shukri Subane of St. Cloud was taken to Fairview Northland in Princeton with non-life-threatening injuries. Troopers say the road was snow and ice covered.
