NEWS
--The Morrison County Sheriff ‘s Office responded to a one vehicle rollover with the driver trapped in the vehicle on Hawthorne Road, east of Little Falls in Belle Prairie Township around 9:15am Friday morning. According to the Sheriff’s Office, 26-year old Saisha Kohl of Pierz was traveling east on Hawthorn Road. Kohl lost control of the vehicle on the icy roads and went in the ditch on the south side of the road. Kohl’s vehicle rolled and came to rest upside down in water. She was trapped inside. Kohl was freed from the vehicle and transported to CHI St. Gabriel’s Hospital with unknown injuries. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Little Falls Fire Department.

--The Morrison County Sheriff ‘s Office reported a one vehicle rollover near the intersection of 93rd Street and Imperial Road, three miles east of Highway 10 in Bellevue Township, north of Royalton around 9:45am Friday morning. 52-year old Deann Reynolds from Milaca was traveling west on 93rd Street. Reynolds lost control of the vehicle in the curves near Imperial Road due to the icy roads. Reynolds vehicle went in the ditch on the south side of the road and rolled. Reynolds was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

--Long-time ROCORI Superintendent Scott Staska is now accused of 16 different incidents of indecent exposure, both in Waite Park and St. Cloud. Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says the incidents allegedly started in November 2017, going through the incident at a Waite Park Kwik Trip ten days ago. The breakdown of incidents looks like this: 4 at the Kwik Trip on Great Oaks Drive in Waite Park; 2 at the Kwik Trip on 10th Avenue South in Waite Park; 3 at the Super America on 3rd Street North in Waite Park; 1 at the Kwik Trip on 44th Avenue in St. Cloud; 4 at the Kwik Trip on County Road 120 in St. Cloud and 2 at Crossroads Center in Rue 21 and Lids. Authorities say the Waite Park cases will be sent to that city's attorney, and St. Cloud cases to the St. Cloud attorney. Staska will make his first court appearance within the next few weeks.

--The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce has named Renee Kono of the Morrison County Animal Humane Society as their April Employee of the Month. Renee has been a Shelter Mom for the past five years at the Morrison County Animal Humane Society. Congratulations Renee Kono, Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce April Employee of the Month.

--The St. Cloud Fire Department responded to two structure fires at apartment complexes Wednesday night. Units responding to the first fire reported at 6:32pm Wednesday on the 1300 block of 15th Street North found a light amount of smoke in the hallway from a small fire inside an oven. There were no injuries or damage. The second incident was reported at 8:33pm Wednesday on the 500 block of 54th Avenue North. A light amount of smoke was found in the building from a small fire on a stove. There were no injuries and damage from the fire is estimated at $400.

--The Morrison County DFL Party with delegates from Morrison, Cass, Todd, and Wadena counties announced that they have endorsed Stephen Browning of Little Falls for the Minnesota House of Representatives District 9B. Browning was born, raised and attended school in Little Falls. Currently, Browning is a fifth grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary in St. Cloud. He lives in Little Falls with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Allison. The current District 9B State Representative Ron Kresha is from the Republican Party.

--A very nasty winter storm in the spring occurred late Friday into Saturday with thunder-snow dropping 1-2 inches an hour between 12am-4am Saturday bringing 10.5 inches to Little Falls and 11-14 inches in other areas. Strong winds made for difficult travel Saturday. Easter was dry and cold and another winter storm comes in today and some could see 5-8 inches more by tomorrow afternoon.

--Two people were hurt Saturday night in an accident near Motley in Morrison County. The State Patrol stated that 42-year old Nick Grbich of St. Cloud was on Highway 10 at 9pm, hit a patch of ice, skidded off the road and rolled in the median. Grbich and his passenger, 38-year old Amy Grbich were both taken to a hospital for injuries.

--A 29-year old from Ponsford was injured Saturday morning near Avon after colliding with a snow plow driven by a Swanville man. Ashley Stevens was on Interstate 94 around 7:45am and came up behind a MN Dot snow plow driven by 29-year old Mark Nienaber of Swanville. Stevens tried to slow down but slid on the ice into the snow plow. She was taken to the hospital with injuries. Nienaber, along with Stevens two passengers ages 23 and 19 were not hurt.

--The Morrison County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9am at the council chambers at Little Falls City Hall. Agenda items include guests for National Volunteer Week, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Crime Victim's Rights Week, Child Abuse Prevention Month, and a proclamation from Public Health. The Sheriff's Office will discuss telecommunications for public safety and mudfest. Public Health will discuss WIC and other items also at the meeting Tuesday at 9am.

--The Minnesota State Patrol responded to an accident Friday just before noon on Highway 95 at Princeton in Mille Lacs County. 78-year old Sharon Draper of Albert Lea was on Highway 95 turning onto 169 and pulled in front of a vehicle driven by 53-year old Dennis Dehn of Zimmerman and the two collided. Both drivers sustained non life threatening injuries. Draper was the only one taken to the hospital.

--The Little Falls City Council meets tonight 7:30 at City Hall.

SPORTS
TWINS= Sano, Keppler and Castro homered Saturday as the Twins beat Baltimore 6-2 for first win of season. Jose Berrios pitched the complete game shutout win on Sunday as the Twins hit four homers in a 7-0 win to take the series. Brian Dozier had two of the four homeruns hit. The Twins have a Monday Wednesday series with Pittsburgh starting today at 11:30am on Q92 WYRQ.
NCAA= Michigan and Villanova won on Saturday to advance to the NCAA Men's Final Four tonight at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
NCAA= Arike Ogunbowale hit a last second shot to lift Notre Dame to a 61-58 win over Mississippi State for NCAA Women's Title.
