--The Morrison County Sheriff's Office took a theft report of a County Line Log Splitter in Little Falls Township taken sometime between July 25th and August 9th. The Owner stated it was only used once. Anyone with information on the theft can is asked to call 632-9233.

--Around 5:05pm Thursday the Morrison County Sheriff's Office received a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of 165th Street and Greyhound Road in Green Prairie Township in Little Falls. 65-year old David Marcyes of Seattle, Washington was traveling west on 165th Street when he failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by 66-year old Jerrold Feia of Litte Falls who was traveling north on Greyhound Road. A passenger in Feia’s vehicle, 65-year old Phyllis Feia of Little Falls was taken by ambulance to the hospital with unknown injuries.

--Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that the Cass County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a missing person's case. David Rickbeil, age 60, of Ham Lake Minnesota has been reported missing. Rickbeil's vehicle was located abandoned in Cass County on the Lake Washburn Road in rural Remer. The Sheriff's Office requests assistance from the public with any information related to the whereabouts of Rickbeil. Please contact the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 1-800-450-2677 or your local law enforcement agency.

--Three adults and two children were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Highway 210 in Cass County, west of Brainerd in Sylvan Township. The Minnesota State Patrol reported 24-year old Alexis T. Weber of Peidmont, South Dakota, was traveling east on Highway 210 in Sylvan Township as 16-year old Joshua D. Mclain of Baxter, was making a left turn from Cass County Highway 18 onto westbound Highway 210, when his vehicle was struck by Weber. Both drivers and Weber's three passengers Amelia R. Laughton under age 1, 5-year old Kadyn L. Laughton and 23-year old Kate M. Laughton all of Brainerd were taken to Brainerd hospital for their injuries.

--The Minnesota Department of Revenue is reminding homeowners and renters to file for their 2016 Property Tax Refund before it expires on August 15th. Claims for 2017 Property Tax Refunds can also be filed although they do not expire until next August. Renters and homeowners that meet certain household income requirements may be eligible. Visit their website to see if you qualify or type Property Tax Refund into the Search box on their website. Last year, the average homeowner refund was $892 and the average renter refund was $654. Since 2012, Minnesotans have received more than $2.9 billion in property tax refunds.

--Hundreds of victims of clergy sexual abuse will likely vote this month on a reorganization plan for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis that will compensate them for the abuse. According to a timetable laid out Thursday at a federal bankruptcy court hearing, around 450 victims will begin to vote August 21st pending judicial approval. Reports say if the plan is endorsed it would go to the judge overseeing the bankruptcy in late September. Then it would be determined how much money each victim gets. The tentative settlement reached in May provides about $210 million to compensate abuse victims. All victims would receive at least $50,000, with greater compensation depending on the nature, duration and effects of the abuse suffered. Approval is expected since victims helped develop this plan.

--Thanks to all who attended the Morrison County Fair last week, including all that were in the Little Falls Radio Cash Cube. Dairy Princess Sam Winscher won the Milking Contest on Saturday. In the hay bale competition- Livestock Legends with the cow finished first.

--Benton County released more information on an inmate assault to a detention officer on Wednesday morning in St. Cloud. At the time of the assault, the detention officer was in the process of conducting a routine search of the inmate. The inmate punched the detention officer in the head and also injured the detention officer’s shoulder. Other jail staff in the area responded to the incident immediately and subdued the inmate. The detention officer was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for evaluation of his injuries. As a result of this incident, the Benton County Jail was placed on lockdown for the remainder of the day. 33-year old Cody Alexander Mann of Sauk Rapids was charged with 3rd Degree Assault and 4th Degree Assault in connection with this incident.

--One person was injured Friday afternoon just before 1pm on Highway 23 at 95 in Benton County. Two vehicles collided at the intersection with both drivers not being injured. A passenger in one vehicle, 69-year-old Eugene Denbeste of Cedar was complaining of pains and taken to St. Cloud Hospital to be evaluated.

--Police say a man was detained last week after running around the St. Cloud Metro area naked. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they received a call just after 4am Monday of a man sitting naked outside of an apartment complex, talking strangely. Before officers arrived, the man ran off. He was later spotted running through Sauk Rapids, just north of the St. Cloud city limits. Just after 5:30am St. Cloud Police received a call that a naked man was walking near the Post Office. He was spotted several minutes later walking up the Courthouse steps. From there, the man made his way to the Law Enforcement Center entry way where officers finally caught up to him. Authorities say the man was under the influence of drugs.

TWINS= Tigers beat the Twins 5-3 on Friday. Twins barely hold on as Tigers rally in 9th but Twins win 4-3 Saturday. Jack Morris put in the Tigers Hall of Fame Sunday then Detroit beat the Twins 4-2 to take the series. The Twins are off today.
REGION 8C= Sobieski defeated Buckman Saturday 8-2 to win the Region 8C Championship for 2018. Sobieski will get a bye this weekend and play on August 26th. Buckman (11am) and Ft. Ripley (5pm) play on Saturday, Lastrup (Noon) on Sunday from state tourney in North Prague & Shakopee, hear the action on KLTF.
NFL= Vikings win preseason game #1 over Denver 42-28 Saturday.
WNBA= Seattle defeated Lynx last night 81-72 at Target Center.
