--Royalton Schools announced that the four that will be interviewed Monday for the vacant School Superintendent position are John Phelps, principal on special assignment and superintendent intern at Anoka-Hennepin School District 111; Michael Pagel, the current principal at Fulda Elementary School, who also holds a superintendents’ license; Lowell Haagenson, current director of the Minnesota Regional Centers of Excellence, Central Lakes Regional Team in Sartell; and James Muckenhirn, superintendent of South Koochiching Rainy River School District. Royalton school offiicals are hoping to have a candidate in place near the end of the week as Superintendent Jon Ellerbusch's last day is Friday, June 30th. Ellerbusch will be taking the Superintendent position in North Branch.
--A 25-year old man who brought traffic to a standstill on Interstate 94 while high on drugs in March recently died at the St. Cloud Hospital after being found not breathing in his jail cell. According to the Todd County Sheriff's Office, Brett Huber was found June 9th, in his cell not breathing. He was taken by ambulance to the Long Prairie Hospital and later airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital where he died days later. The incident at the jail is currently under investigation. Huber ended up in the Todd County Jail after he allegedly stole a van in Alexandria but crashed it in Osakis. In Osakis, police say he took another vehicle, which he crashed on I-94, where he began wandering into traffic and eventually climbed on top of a truck before his eventual arrest.
--One year later, St. Cloud police are still asking for your help in finding a missing Wisconsin woman. Police say 24-year old Shannah Boiteau of Chippewa Falls was last seen in the area of Interstate 94 and Stearns County Road 74 on June 22nd, 2016. Boiteau ran from her boyfriend’s vehicle. She is described as a white woman, 5′ 7″, 135-pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan tank top, black leggings and having brown hair pulled up. Police say she may have fled Wisconsin because of a warrant on a probation violation. St. Cloud police say they are actively working with her family and the Chippewa Falls Police Department to follow up on any leads as to her whereabouts. --A California man has been sentenced to probation after after he was found transporting 50 pounds of marijuana through central Minnesota. 32-year old John Nilmeyer pleaded guilty in April to felony 3rd degree drug possession. Court records show he was pulled over in Sauk Centre last spring for tinted tail lights and failing to signal a lane change. The officer noticed the smell of marijuana in the car and a police dog uncovered 50 vacuum sealed, one-pound bags of pot in duffel bags. Nilmeyer gets credit for serving four days in the Stearns County Jail and will be on probation for 20 years. If he violates the terms of his probation he could be sentenced to one year and nine months in prison.

--Shortly before 5:00pm Thursday the Morrison County Sheriff ‘s Office received a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries northwest of Range Control, inside Camp Ripley. 18-year old Lauren Franken of Hartford, SD was traveling southeast on Luzon Road in a military Humvee. 29-year old Christopher Hamann of South Shore, SD was traveling northwest on Luzon Road in a military supply truck. The Humvee veered into the other lane because of the dust and collided head on with the supply truck. Franken and her passenger, 22-year old Samantha Kasuske of Watertown, SD were taken ambulance to St Gabriel’s Hospital with unknown injuries. Hamann was not injured.
--The Little Falls School Board will hold a special meeting Thursday at 5:00pm at the government center boardroom. Agenda items include construction updates and a scoreboard update from Kevin Jordan. They will approve the Food Service Low Fund Balance and the Unpaid Meal Charges policy, hear on the MNDOT project near Highway 27 in Little Falls, and then vote on approval of the budget for 2017-18.
--A 44-year old Crosslake man is facing felony charges for assaulting and robbing a man at a Crosby bar. Chad J. Naslund was charged June 16th in Crow Wing County District Court in Brainerd with felony first-degree robbery, felony third-degree assault and misdemeanor of obstructing the legal process. Reviewing video footage from outside the bar, it shows Naslund grabbing the cigarettes from the male subject and then the two exchanged several jabs at each other and then Naslund connected with a full round house punch to the left ear area leaving the victim collapsed on the ground. After placing Naslund under arrest, he tried to pull away and kick his feet away from the officer as he was trying to search him. A Crosby lieutenant had to assist in trying to restrain Naslund against the car. Naslund was convicted on several gross misdemeanor/misdemeanor assault charges from 2015 and 2016. Naslund was scheduled to be in court Thursday for an omnibus hearing/pretrial hearing.
--A Stearns County judge has given the attorney of Jerry and Patty Wetterling until Friday to give her the documents that the Wetterlings do not want released to the public. The Wetterling's sued Stearns County in an attempt to block items from being released to the public during the investigation into their son Jacob's disappearance in 1989. The Wetterling's felt the items were of a private nature and should not be released to the general public and the media.

TWINS= Twins shut out Indians Friday 5-0 on a 3 hit performance from Brian Dozier. Dozier and Gimenez homer Saturday to beat Indians 4-2. Ervin Santana shuts down Indians Sunday 4-0 and the Twins move back into first place in the AL Central at 39-34. The Twins travel to Boston today to take on Red Sox 5:30pm on Q92 WYRQ.
LYNX= Lynx beat Washington on Friday with 22 from Maya Moore then beat San Antonio on Sunday. The Lynx are now 11-1 on season.
