NEWS
--The two victims who were found dead inside a Perham home have been identified by authorities as 42-year old Denise McFadzen and her son, 21-year-old Dalton McFadzen. The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office says 21-year old William Hillman of Pine River was arrested on two charges of second-degree homicide. Authorities dispatched officers to the home after receiving a report of an assault. Upon arrival, both victims were found deceased. The cause of death, in both victims, has been ruled homicidal violence.

--An Illinois man was extradited and charged with aiding and abetting murder in connection with a February shooting in Sauk Rapids that left one man dead and another injured. He is the third man charged in connection with the incident. 26-year old Nokomis Lee Jefferson was arrested in Illinois approximately a week ago and held in the Cook County Jail for extradition. According to authorities an investigation into the February 16th shooting revealed Jefferson was involved in the crime, and the county issued a warrant for his arrest. Nokomis was extradited Tuesday night. Nokomis is charged with two felony counts of aiding and abetting murder in the second degree, one count of aiding and abetting murder in the third degree, one count of aiding assault in the first degree, and one count of aiding arson in the second degree. The maximum sentence for aiding and abetting murder in the second degree is 40 years in prison. The maximum sentence for aiding and abetting murder in the third degree is 25 years and $40,000. The maximum sentence for aiding and abetting assault in the first degree is 20 years and $30,000. The charge for aiding and abetting arson in the second degree carries a maximum sentence of 10 years and $20,000.

--A student at St. Cloud State University has allegedly been killed by his father. Prosecutors in western Wisconsin have charged the father accused of fatally shooting his teenage son. 42-year old Kayle Fleischauer was charged Tuesday with first degree intentional homicide in the death of his 19-year old son, Chase Fleischauer. St. Cloud State has confirmed Chase Fleischauer was a sophomore at the university. Kayle Fleischauer is being held on $500,000 cash bond in the St. Croix County Jail. Chase Fleischauer was found at his father's home near New Richmond with a gunshot wound to the head Saturday. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office on Sunday ruled the death a homicide. A friend of the teen says he had gone to spend the night at his father's home with his sister Friday, but he lived full time at his mother's home in St. Paul.

--A 30-year old St. Cloud man is facing charges after reportedly putting a woman in a choke hold during an argument Monday. Deandre Myurice Harrison was charged Wednesday with one felony count of domestic assault by strangulation and two gross misdemeanor counts of domestic assault within 10 years of a domestic assault conviction. His next court date is scheduled for April 26. The maximum sentence for felony domestic assault by strangulation is three years imprisonment and/or a $5,000 fine. The maximum sentence for each of the gross misdemeanor domestic assault subsequent violations is one year imprisonment and/or a $3,000 fine. Harrison has been previously convicted of misdemeanor domestic assault and felony drug possession.

--BonTon Company announced they are closing all their Herberger's stores which includes St. Cloud & Brainerd as part of a liquidator winning a bid in U.S. Bankruptcy Court. This will begin very soon.

--After not receiving the DFL nomination this past weekend for the 8th Congressional District, Leah Phifer announced yesterday that she will no longer pursue the DFL endorsement for the 8th District leaving the 8th Congressional District DFL Convention without a leader on the ballot. Phifer was unable to receive the 60 percent consensus required for the endorsement. Phifer stated that she feels she is still the best candidate for the 8th District but without the endorsement from the DFL Party she said it would have been very difficult to get that message across to the voters.

--Republican Keith Downey announced yesterday that he is pulling out for the race for Governor of Minnesota. Downey still believes in his message “Make Minnesota Work for Everyone” but feels that the time now was not right to continue seeking the Republican nomination for governor.

--On Monday, April 9th the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force, executed a search warrant at 124 7th Ave. NE, St. Cloud. During the search warrant 1.3 lbs of MDMA (Ecstasy), 4 lbs of marijuana and $15,843 in US currency were seized as evidence. 19-year old Justin Knoell of St. Cloud was present at the residence and was arrested on first degree controlled substance charges. The investigation is ongoing.

--There will be a Suicide Prevention and Intervention program next Thursday from 6-7:30pm at the Little Falls VFW sponsored by the American Legion and VFW. Speakers will discuss ways to help with prevention of Veterans with emotional stress which leads to depression and in some cases suicide. Clergy, medical personnel, Veterans and their families or anyone who has to work, deal or knows of someone who is dealing with these issues is encouraged to attend. The program is free of charge. There will be free books for clergy and others to use to help with the process of talking to those with severe depression. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
--Pro Wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino has died at age 82. Sammartino become World Wrestling Champion in 1963, held the title until 1971 and then won it back in 1973 until 1977. Sammartino is instrumental in many careers in bodybuilding and wrestling, including being a hero to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

TWINS= Twins win in late innings last night, 2-1 in 16 innings. Sano homered to tie the game in the 14th and Twins win it in the 16th. The Twins are off today and travel to Tampa to take on the Rays Friday.
NBA= Houston beat up the Timberwolves last night 102-82 in Game 2 of the playoffs. Rockets lead 2-0. Game 3 is Saturday in Minnesota.
NHL= Wild at Winnipeg Friday in game 5, Jets lead series 3-1.
