This event highlighted the Minnesota food industry and the impact it has on serving consumers, providing careers, and investing in its communities. Kresha was one of four legislators who competed against Minnesota’s 2017 Best Bagger. A panel of MGA members judged the five contestants based on speed, distribution of weight between the bags, proper bagging technique, along with style, attitude and appearance. As the winner, Kresha was presented a trophy and $1,000 to donate to a food charity of his choice within his district.

--A St. Cloud man has been charged with making terroristic threats after an incident Saturday evening. According to a Stearns County criminal complaint, 22-year old Andrew Kim Beniek was arrested by a Minnesota state trooper after he allegedly threatened another driver with a handgun. The other driver told the trooper Beniek originally cut him off, and when he speeded up to pass Beniek, Beniek "pulled out a gun and pointed it at him." The driver told the trooper he feared for the safety of himself, his wife and 11-year-old child who were also in the car. The trooper searched Beniek and found a Glock 9mm handgun and a switchblade. The complaint then said: "The defendant told Trooper Orlando that he was a protective agent for Fairline LLC and that 'in the military when someone is running at you, you are going to take them out.'" Austin Ceman is the owner of Fairline Services LLC — a private guard services company that provides security for a variety of events. Ceman said Beniek does work for them, but will not be going forward.
