One person injured Wednesday in St. Cloud after a broadside collision on Highway 10

One person was injured Wednesday in St. Cloud after a broadside collision on Highway 10. The accident happened when 83-year-old Elmer Schreifels of St. Cloud was on Highway 10 making a turn onto 15th Avenue South when he failed to yeild to oncoming traffic and was struck by 40-year-old Michelle Smith of Monticello. Smith suffered non life threatening injuries. Schreifels had some minor injuries but refused hospitalization.
