One person killed in four vehicle collision on Interstate 94 in Albertville

One person was killed in a collision that involved four vehicles heading east on Interstate 94 and eight people Saturday afternoon in Albertville. A passenger in one of the vehicles Erin Bateman of Manitoba died in the crash. 10-year old Elizabeth Sabourin was a passenger in the same vehicle and suffered serious injuries. A total of three others suffered non life threatening injuries. According to a release from the State Patrol, the collision occurred as all four vehicles were traveling east on Interstate Highway 94 at County Road 19 in Albertville. A rear-end collision occurred as traffic slowed.
