A St. Cloud man is being held in Benton County Jail on possible charges of second-degree assault and terroristic threats. 52-year old Samvang Sam Phrachansiry was arrested early Sunday morning after a 54-year-old St. Cloud man was hit in the head with a hammer in the 500 block of U.S. Highway 10 south. The assault happened at about 2:40am. Police say after the assault Phrachansiry left the area on foot and went home.
