A St. Cloud man broke a window early Sunday morning and entered the residence of a woman who had an order for protection against him. 23-year-old Connor Dahl was charged Monday with first-degree burglary, misdemeanor domestic assault, interfering with a 911 call and violating an order for protection. Dahl pounded on the window of a residence around 3:00am and shouted at two people inside. One of the occupants was a woman who was granted an order for protection against Dahl in July because of multiple instances of abuse. The two people in the residence locked themselves in the bathroom. Dahl then entered the residence through a window, kicked through the bathroom door and hung up the phone while the occupants called 911. Dahl ultimately fled the residence and attempted to run from police officers when they found him. He was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail.
