St. Cloud police early Thursday made an arrest of a suspect in the vandalism of multiple vehicles that happened at two separate locations on Sunday. Police recognized a suspect from surveillance video, having dealt with him on an unrelated matter. At 12:30am Thursday, police arrested 21-year-old Noah James Farrell of St. Cloud. When police confronted Farrell about the vandalism, he admitted to it and said he was not targeting anyone or any place and that he was intoxicated and returning home at the time of the incidents. Farrell was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail on suspicion of felony criminal damage to property. He was later released. The investigation remains active as they are still looking for another suspect and a vehicle involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact St. Cloud Police at 251-1200 or Tri-County Crimestoppers at 255-1301.
