St. Cloud police are investigating two robberies that happened within two hours early Saturday morning. Around 2:00am Saturday, officers were dispatched to a complaint near Seventh Avenue and Eighth Street S. According to the report a 20-year-old man said a man showed him a weapon and demanded his property. A second man was involved and claimed to have a weapon, though none was seen. Around 3:45am, officers investigated a robbery that occurred in an alley of the 300 block of Seventh Avenue S. According to that report a 21-year-old man said he was assaulted by several men and his property was taken. A second 21-year-old man also was assaulted during the incident. Both cases are being investigated by the department’s Campus Area Police Services unit. Anyone with more information should call St. Cloud police at 251-1200.
