St. Cloud police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured around 12:38pm Thursday. Police said they do not have anybody in custody, but they believe all people involved in the shooting were acquaintances and there is no longer a threat to public safety. Dispatch received a call at 12:29pm about a fight involving five people in a parking lot at 25th Avenue and Minnesota Highway 23. The caller then told police the individuals involved left the scene of the fight in vehicles. At 12:38pm dispatch received calls reporting multiple gunshots fired at Central Park, which is north of Third Street North between 28th and 29th avenues. Police arrived and found a 33-year-old male from St. Cloud with one gunshot wound that they do not consider life-threatening. The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance.
