The State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that killed one and injured seven in Becker Tuesday night. Around 8:00pm on Highway 10 at County Road 11 a pickup driven by 18-year old Devan Garlock of Little Falls was heading east on Highway 10 when he ran a red light and struck a caravan. The van was heading north on County Road 11 being driven by 54-year old Charles Maurer of Becker. Maurer died from his injuries. Garlock had three passengers who each suffered injuries. 17-year old Carlee Bollig of Little Falls suffered serious injuries. 18-year old George Saldana of Little Falls, 16-year old Caysi Jaronkie of Little Falls and the driver Garlock suffered non life threatening injuries. In the other vehicle three passengers from Becker suffered injuries too. 10-year old Casey Maurer had serious injuries. Both 15-year old Alenita Maurer and 15-year old Alora Nelson suffered non life threatening injuries.
