The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 17-year-old runaway. Brianna Jenny Hoppe has a felony theft warrant, and was on house arrest on July 18th when she left her rural Stearns County home at 10:15pm. Authorities believe she cut off her ankle bracelet. Hoppe is described as around 5-foot-5 with green eyes and long blonde hair when she left. On July 19 at 3:00am, she purchased a track phone which has since been turned off and light brown hair dye. Hoppe left her home with two duffle bags and $5,700 in cash, and bought a 1999 black Pontiac Grand Prix. The car’s license plate is 687-CKJ, has stickers across the top of the back window, and has a very loud exhaust. Hoppe talked with people about going to Indiana, Wyoming, and Maine prior to leaving. She has previously been picked up near Atwater, Willmar, Ottertail County and Lowry. Anyone with information about Hoppe or the vehicle is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 320-251-4240.
