Two people were injured Monday when their van struck a deer on Minnesota Highway 55. The van was near Eastwood Avenue at about 12:30pm when it struck the deer. The deer broke the windshield, injuring the driver, 30-year old Kristine Gosch of Becker and a passenger in the front seat, 57-year old Mitze Olson of Sartell. Gosch and Olson were taken to Buffalo Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Three other passengers, 5-year-old Reese Gosch, 4-year-old Sari Gosch and 1-year-old Griffin Gosch, were not injured.
