Two people were hurt Monday night around 9:40pm on Highway 371 south of Brainerd. 66-year-old Lonny A. Goble of Fort Ripley was traveling south on 371 when an eastbound vehicle off 80th Street driven by 32-year-old Sean Pflepson of Brainerd failed to stop at the sign and the vehicles collided. Pflepson was treated for injuries at the Brainerd hospital. Goble and his wife Theresa Goble were not injured. A third passenger 90-year-old Frances Kempenich of Little Falls was injured and taken to the area hospital for treatment. The State Patrol stated that alcohol was detected in Pfelpson’s system.
