Two of the men accused of soliciting prostitution at a Baxter hotel have filed petitions to a district court judge challenging the charges against them. The two filed petitions stating that the lack of probable cause is the reason that charges of solicitation should be dropped against Brent Seivert of Breezy Point and Keneth Kirk of Baxter. Attorney’s for the two questioned that since there were prostitutes at the sight in question and they are only accused of making ap hone call ot a police officer the charges should not be gross misdemeanors. The court would not say either way if they would take the petition under advisement at this time as more pretrail hearings are still being done on others charges in the case of solicitation from two sting operations earlier this year in Baxter.
