Upsala High School will crown its homecoming king and queen during ceremonies this Sunday at 2:00pm in the school auditorium. Queen candidates include Natalie Strassburg, Kiley Smieja, Kendra Lange, Amy Kobylinski and Makayla Butkowski. The king candidates are Brandon Wolbeck, Cody Wensmann, Timothy Valencia-Louden, Kyle Lange and Justin Cichon. Other royalty for this year include seventh grade – Audrey Thomas and Wil Leners, eighth grade – Amber Biniek and Carver McDermond, ninth grade – Desiree Dingmann and Dylan VanWienen, 10th grade – Anna Woidyla and Andrew Prokott, and 11th grade – Noelle Kedrowski and Myron Ripplinger. Representing the fourth grade are Hunter Boeckermann and Kenna Graves. After a week of activities Friday, Oct. 2, is “Red, White, and Blue or ‘Merica Day” with the Dollars For Scholars Walk-a-thon and pep fest. The homecoming football game is slated for a 7:00pm start time in Swanville against BBE.
