On Tuesday in Morrison County District Court 29-year old Jeffrey Allen Wilson plead guilty to a single count of Arson in the First Degree. Wilson admitted to Judge Conrad Freeberg that he and Jon Wiedenbach set fire to a house at 800 Highland Avenue in Little Falls on April 4th. Wilson stated that he knew the house was a residence at the time he started the fire. Wilson testified that Wiedenbach told him that he wanted the house burned down. Wilson further stated that Wiedenbach purchased the gasoline and owned the lighter that they used to start the fire. No people were in the house at the time of the fire. Wilson will be sentenced on September 23rd at 9:00am. Morrison County Attorney, Brian Middendorf, stated: “We intend to ask the Judge to sentence Wilson to serve several years in prison. Arson is a dangerous crime, and the consequences are serious.” Wilson has agreed to testify against co-defendant Wiedenbach whose trial is scheduled for January.
